Please don't spend too much time on these older drivers...
From my investigations into the internals of various SMaL TWAIN drivers, here is a list of dates for the drivers which are known:
6/21/2002 - RS FlatFoto 16-3620
8/19/2002 - Logitech Pocket Digital (1)
1/21/2003 - Creative Labs CamCard (2)
9/18/2003 - eyePlate MEGA, Oregon Scientific 6628
3/18/2004 - RS FlatFoto 16-3820 (3)
2/10/2004 - Che-ez Foxz
4/14/2004 - Che-ez Foxz2
8/13/2004 - RS FlatFoto 2 16-3831
Notes:
(1) I haven't installed this software to see the TWAIN driver, date is based on file dates
(2) I haven't installed this software because of EULA, date is based on file dates
(3) The file date is later than Che-ez Foxz driver, but internal versions inside the TWAIN
driver show that this is based on older SMaL software.
So... the Che-ez Foxz2 drivers are the most recent drivers which have been posted
on the 'net by any hardware manufacturer.
The RadioShack FlatFoto 2 (16-3831) drivers are the most recent drivers known.
Officially, these drivers are only available by purchase from RadioShack.
For my hacking efforts, I am working with the Foxz2 drivers. When I finish
current projects then I'll dig into the FlatFoto 2 drivers (that I bought) to
see what's different there.
