there has'nt been intrest in this area for a long time i was wondering what people's thoughts were on the Panasonic PVHS2000 also what are my options with it? bigger hard drive or anything?

Yes, you can add up to 2 hard drives to it (you can replace the original drive). It appears that if you go beyond 150 megs (150 hours at low quality) that this causes memory issues, so the "safe" way at this point is an 80 and a 60 gig drive.
