I'm trying to find a philips hdr112 for around $100 but can't seem to find one. is there anyone out selling it for this price? would anyone be willing to swap a brand new Audrey (with all updates) for a good working 112?

There are several for sale at any given time on eBay. You shouldn't have to pay more than $50 for a 112 (or any series 1 for that matter). Also check your local Goodwill. I just got one there for $7.50, but the hard drive is noisy. You might get lucky and stumble on one with a lifetime subscription. I got really lucky and fished one out of a dumpster at the recycling center that had been upgraded to 200+ hours AND had a lifetime sub. Works perfectly too. You can get brand new remotes on eBay. Pay no more than $20 total for the remote including shipping. Hope this helps.
