Dear Sirs

sorry for my English but I write from Italy. I've bought on Ebay a Keen SidecarPVR. Nobody of them I've tried to hack it ? Inside I find a small board and one 60 gb Wegstern Digital hard disk. This Pvr also have one usb port to be connected to the cable receiver adn iee 1394 ports for expanding the capacity of recording ? I'm interesting in using it as a normal VCR .

Best Regards
Corrado

I used to work for Keen Personal Media

The units that were sold on eBay were sold "as is" after the company went bankrupt.

There were around 1,000 units built and ready to ship right as the company went under.

These units would be basically unusable for anyone because they are very customized for Cox and Rogers Cable companies.

In my opionion the only thing you could do with them is to remove the 60GB hard drive and put it in your PC. Hopefully the eBay price wasn't too high!

Dave
