One thing that I have been looking for and not found is discussion of converting a TIVO or a replay to a computer/mp3 settop box. I have done the i-opener, etc. I would really like to remove the original software from ANY of the PVR set top boxes and use that as the music player in my living room playing mp3 files from my music server. My main desire is that it has TV output for the mp3 perl front end player i use, and a decent audio out to hook to my stereo. Since tivo IS running a version of linux, does anyone know a link or site that discusses this? Or any projects even remotely related to this? Thanks.

Barry
