For some reason my site doesnt seem to be accessible to all (not sure why yet)...until I get it worked out, anyone willing to donate the time and bandwidth to host theses images? The CD that comes with the thing lets you NetBoot it from your Windows machine and completely restore it to a factory setup. 02-04-2003 22:01:03

(modified 0 times) Neb001 Profile mrastudent: that cd requires the server to be set to setup boot mode, which is supposed to allow the windows program to connect to it. My question is, what if that setup boot mode is setup with the gallant's software? If thats the case, then if you reformat the drive, you would lose the ability to put the comp into setup boot mode, and gallant's backup restore cd is basically worthless. 02-04-2003 22:07:38

(modified 0 times) mrastudent Profile The purpose of the remote booting and restoration from CD is to let you fix your appliance when you've had a total HD failure. If you were to put it a new HDD it would still work. I give Gallant two thumbs up for doing this. They could have just left you high and dry with a hosed HD if they wanted to. 02-04-2003 22:09:50
