I am backing up the original linux OS using dolly. I tried Ghost, and it failed. all seems to be going good. Hope I have enough space on the target drive. :)
I just put in a 40 gig drive. I also moved the blue jumper. I'm crossing my fingers!
I just keeps looping once it detects the drive. I believe the bios knows that the installed hd isn't the factory drive. The loader must to a test. Pressing F2 didn't get me into the bios either.
I did see that there were 4 partitions (using fdisk), I tired to switch the active partition. I didn't think to do a directory listing. Gotta' leave it now. Headed home.
I have sucessfully created a backup image of the drive using dolly. It was ~ 4 gigs. (4,294,967,296 bytes). Using Winrar I've compressed it down to 228 megs (239,793,178).
