Dot Station software password help

Is there a way to reset the software password for the Dot Station? The BIOS is fine, but I don't have the root password. It was set right out of the box and I don't know what it is. I have the docs, but they are in Spanish with no mention of a default password. Any ideas?
Thanks

If you have a "normal" BIOS (the ABAZ or similar BIOS), then you should be able to boot into single-user mode and just change it. Alternately, remove the HDD from the machine, place it as a slave drive in another Linux system, and mount '/' to something like /mnt on the host system. Once it is mounted, you can edit /etc/passwd and /etc/passwd.shadow to alter the login info.

Alternately, you can try '1234' As silly as it seems, that appears to have been the default root password. May not work on all models, though.
