120 / 240V input

in one of the pictures, it shows a 200-240V input. Since most of us are within US in this forum, do you guys use a step up transformer? Or does the unit take 120V straight from the wall and switch accordingly?

Please advice.

I plugged mine straight into the wall here in the US, no problems. On the back of the unit, the power is listed as 100-240 V, same as the HP scanner next to me.
