| regarding the dot.keyboard stand, there are two nibs on each end of the metal bar, near where they're inserted into the plastic shell of the keyboard. there's a slot in the plastic shell on either end, where the metal nibs rest to 'lock' it in place. strictly a gravity operation, no friction or other tension to hold it in place.
speaking of which, one of the number keys has the ESC on it, and can be accessed by pressing the right-hand ALT key before pressing the number key. the right-hand ALT key is slightly differently marked, and activates the 'third' value of each keyboard key.
