I recently purchased a Dot on ebay from a seller. This was a Tiger.dot which I was not aware of,as the seller purchased the machine the turned around and sold it on ebay after about one week. When I got the machine it didnt work, something wrong with the software. It was under warranty,so sent it to Evergreen Systems, they restored the software to its orginal.I tried to configure the dot to my isp,but couldnt figure how to do this(have no instructions on how to do this, just that users guide in Spanish), or if I did it correctly.I clicked on the tool bar,and must of clic on something,as the tool bar, went to the left side of the screen from the bottom,I tried to get it to go to the botton, then it dissappeared completly from the screen.Does anyone how I can make this reappear. Also I tried the phone, but it doesnt seem to work,it works when I plug it into a phone line directly, but not when plug into the dot.The dot I have runs on KDE 3.0 Konqueror, the screen has four icons on the left of the screen HOME,TRASH,KDE,CD-ROM,plus the tool bar on the bottom.I have more useful information I could post on the site that may be of help to someone.Any help would be appreciated.John at j-oconnor@mindspring.com
