Help! Original HDD is dying.
I'm looking for an image (or just the particular files) from /dev/hdb8

I discovered in the process of unlocking my dot.bob2 that the original Seagate HDD is developing bad sectors. I copied over all of the partitions I could mount, and finally found where the bad sectors are. The following files couldn't be copied:

cp: reading `/mnt/hdb8/blueriver/var/cfg_db/SystemKey/Software/Applications/notepad_id/AppSWChksum': Input/output error

I'd like to actually try out the dot.bob2's original OS, but it won't start the gui - and I think it might be because of this.

Alternately, I have a file server at home - so if anyone could hook me up with a disk image, I can accept it via ftp.

I just received a sealed dot.bob today. I will image the drive before I boot it up. I can't promise this will be before the 25th, but I will image the virgin drive. I also have a few image floating around of an XP plain build, etc.., but I can't release the XP for obvious legal reasons.

Hi all

I'm the proud owner of a half forgotten Spanish dot.station and, since our idol latas has been able to crack the BIOS protection, I want to take it back to life.

The problem is that the original harddrive was erased and I need the "original" image to be able to boot the machine in order to reflash the BIOS. So, can anyone provide it?

I have a working image of the dot.station. It's 380MB GZIPPED. If you need it let me know. I can burn it for you, or up it. Email me to make arrangements as needed.
