Hi Dudes :).

Here is the code for erase the cmos-ram and Password from DOS, whitout shorting pinīs, or open the Dot.station briefcase.
I think only is necesary replace the Step "3. - To unblock firmware" whit this code.

I too wonder how you can get to dos w/o opening it up. I don't think this tidbit will work for us. I could be wrong...

Eh , uh. !I forget the linux kernel in the firmware init! sorry! a newbie mistake. But i think thatīs is the right way for a software flasher whitout open the dotstation case.
Iīm not a ASM linux hacker, but every Bios - award, Phoenix, etc- have a code for clearing the cmosram and unlock the write protection firmware. Is posible replace the Debug dos command by the equivalent GDB or ALD debuggers in linux, and write this memory positions in order to obtain the same function.

I know, linux is a protected-mode OS, but iīm not a ASM Linux hacker, and maybe somebody whit the required skills can port this code.
This way allow the software flashing Bios, that its the goal

can somebody involve in this task a Linux ASM hacker? Cīmmon , is only a three line code ! :)

You think is almost nearly to a good aproach? do you like boot linux from a diskette, and flash bios?

excuse my delay in the reply; iīm in “moving time” and donīt have inet in home. Dot.station is hard to transport!
