I bought a Mini itx system for my mother and father in law from these guys:

http://www.idot.com

Service was great and product was pretty cool. The Via priocessor seesm to be fairly fast at general everyday home tasks, simple games and internet/email. For them it was a vastly superior product since they upgraded from a 233Mhz Compaq with an ISA Modem! BTW not all motehrboards support floppy drives. This is something I found out by accident.

Also check out http://www.mini-itx.com they have alot of cool projects for the mini-itx form factor.
