| Netpliance stock today more than doubled when a press report announcing a new procurement technique which halves the cost to Netpliance for I-Openers. The press report was vague on details, however it apparently involves procurement through EBay, Circuit City and Comp USA. While details remain sketchy, costs are said to be as low as $99 (plus tax) for some, and up to $200 for units purchased online (plus shipping and Ebay commision).
No Netpliance officials were able to comment on the stock "bounce" as most were celebrating sales of billions of dollars of previously valueless stock and stock options. A rumored shakeup in management is likely to be announced shortly, the local Texan economy has also been boosted by the good news, Travel agents and banks with overseas affiliates are also reported to be very busy today.
