Via bidirectional parallel port is possible to export messages to a PC

I think it may be easy to get Mailstation emails to the PC by making a cable which connects the appliance printer port to the PC bidirectional printer port.
The you "Print" the email an it gets to the PC where a little piece of software takes it and saves it as an ascii file.

If anyone have done this yet please tell me.

If not i'll try it myself when i have time.

May be the cable and soft can be sold much like the i-opener and be a source of bucks .$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

This thing will improve the functionality of the appliance beacuse it becames a sort of portable text processor, ideal for students which have to go to the library and copy some text for a research.
