MS 350 - Reroute DNS Address

Just got a free (from OfficeMax, after $30 MIR) Mailstation 350. Software Version indicates V1.37 XTND:ON C

Seems that you can not reconfigure ANY mail-related settings other than the Reply-To address, and all the Network settings are read-only, although they would surely be editable if one could get into the reprogramming mode. Tried the FN/SHIFT/T/Power combination to no avail.

The run-your-own DNS server for the mailstation.com zone would initially appear not to work since you can not re-configure the mailstation's Primary DNS server address. However, it would seem that my home-office router should have the capability to re-route the hard-coded DNS Server IP (207.69.188.185) to my own DNS Server, although I haven't tried that yet. I'm also not superfamiliar with configuring routes like this, but does anyone see any issues why this wouldn't work ?

Of course a proper re-program would be much nicer...

I checked my MailStation 350 that I also got from a local OfficeMax (free after rebate), and the Software Version indicates V1.38 XTND:ON C. The difference between yours and mine looks like only on the Software Version.
