What connector does the monitor use? I'd like to run the display from my SV 24.
I get a 404 from IBMs site when I search for manuals.
Thanks in advance!

Found the page, but need a "machine type and model number" to enter for more info.

What it is asking for is a 4 digit number followed by a dash and that dash is followed by 3 letters/numbers. For example, my xSeries Netfinity Server is a 8658-11y. Yours is probably a NetVista internet appliance 8365-KAU or perhaps a 8365-KBU. Good hunting!

Is there any way to be able to just use the netvista monitor. and hook it up to a vga output. Because i can get the net vista for like 100 bucks and a lcd of its size would be considerably more. thanks guys

I don't think you are going to be swiping LCD's from internet appliances anytime soon. They lack the circuitry to make them true monitors - and are instead wired directly to the video controller. Although there are boards available that will drive DSTN LCD's (or any other "bare" LCD), they cost more than a 15" TFT LCD already - making it pointless.

Now, as an X terminal, on the other hand, they CAN be used as displays for other systems. I have a number of Compaq IA-1's that have a special "X terminal" load on them. They boot up, and attach to an XDM server.
