New MessageRE:Li-7000 / Scovery / BookPC Noise Comparison (modified 0 times) Madman
Maximum-X:

What is the noise level (fan noise that is) of the Li-7000 compares to the Scovery and BookPC? I have both the Scovery and BookPC, the former is quiet and the later is noisy. Of course, the Iopener is dead silent and that's how I like it. Please post, thx.

New MessageIt's off to work I go........... (modified 0 times) io, io, it's off....
It would mostly depend on the type/Mfg of power supplys and there Fan mfg.
I have noticed that you can have 2 of the same computer but one is real quiet and the other one sounds like a mini hoover.
I believe it's the quality of fan and who makes them. Power supplies of the same form factor can come from several different sources and use cheap fans from several different sources.

With that I have a Li-7000 and it seems real quiet, But Maybe the next one could be noisy?
