Will trade for Scovery (preferred) or LI-7000 - your choice of:

IBM 2.5" 1.6GB or 2.1GB 9.5mm high

OR

IBM 2.5" 3GB 12.5mm high (firmware *may* clash with Intel MMX CPUs, no problems with pre-MMX Pentiums, - PII(tried) & others OK??)

OR

Toshiba 2.5" 810MB 8.4mm high (Super thin drive for Libretto or smallish hacking)

OR

Fujitsu 230MB MO drive w/PCMCIA interface, driver disk, and a pack of (5+1?) MO disks.

The 2.5" drives can be used in a regular PC with an inexpensive and readily available adapter - low power, low heat, high reliability.

Let's make a deal! I have some other 2.5" drives, too, but don't remember the details offhand.

I would like to trade someone a 1Ghz Athlon system with 512MB of ram and 2 60 GIG hard drives.
I will give you the motherboard from a 486dx and 2 4meg parity SIMMS for this.

OK, NotSoBright, I believe your nickname - you haven't priced laptop HDDs lately, have you? They're more or less required for i-opener mods, and useful for anything else where you're worried about heat buildup.

Any of those would be a fair trade for a Scovery given the prices they're going for.

My Scovery/Li-7000 BAFO: (Best and final offer, or I'll just go buy a Scovery)

Pick any TWO of the items listed above. I'll pay shipping on my end, you pay on yours. Call today if you want this trade (see profile for phone._

That is better, two of any of these is not a bad deal, however 1 scovery or li7100 for one of these items would only be a good deal for the person getting a $150 computer for $80-90 worth of out of date equipment.

And yes I got these ideas of value from pricewatch today, but any two of these items you mention is a fair offer.
