Ok, I have been throwing money at getting a Gateway Solo notebook put togather from eBay parts and I need to liquidate my other toys!
I have a GCT early version that allow entry into the bios setup (the one Yellow2 sold me) and I have added a 802.11b wireless card in place of the HPNA or ethernet mini-pci; installed in it with external dipole antenna with a RP-SMA antenna connecter. Included in this is a 256mb sodimm (or without if the price is right)
The unit has a full intact factory installed 44 pin IDE header and I will even throw in a special CSEL ide cable with a 44pin IDE to JAE50 CDROM adapter which will allow you to load any hard drive attached assuming it can be set to CSEL
I do have a "reserve" price, keep in mind I paid Yellow2 $100 recently for the base GCT, the memory cost me $85 and the wireless card cost me $120 (my fault, I paid local retail for it)
I need at least $200 for it (shipped) and it doesn't include a hard drive or 256mb memory, the memory is $70 extra (Pony brand lifetime warrenty) I was going to fix it up and sell it on ebay but my GCT with ethernet went for only $220 so I don't believe I going that route with this one
