I have 2 websurfers. They are in various modes of modification. I originally was gonna use them for car MP3 players, but I had issues with building the power supplies. I am unsure if they work.
I also have an IO, I think version 3. I did the audio hacks, and added the com ports. I also have a cd rom that worked fine with it. I had the BIOS flashed. I have I think 64 megs of ram, and I have the original sodimm. I also have an imod 1. I did the blue LED hack. I also have the metal back, with CD rom slot, but the cd rom I have doesn't fit. I should have all the brackets for the back. The screen is perfect, and I will include a touch screen overlay. It has been glued to the front bezel, and works via one of the com ports. I went and tried to do the up grade for the AMD k6III 333, but "q6"??? came off. I haven't been able to correct it. However, the voltage mod did work, voltages are good. It also has a tenmax low profile fan. I just get the BSOD, and I don't have the time, or energy to work on it anymore.
