For Sale: Virgin Webplayer hacked. Used only 3 hours after mods.
Some of the Specs include:
10 GIG IBM Travelstar hard drive, model: DJSA-210. I bought this drive NEW
in 2001 and was used only for this project.
Upgraded RAM, (windows shows it at 123MB)
CD-ROM Drive installed, works great! (unsure of the speed)
OS: Windows 98se is installed and working. (Does not come with manual)
Also comes with Compaq carry case. Perfect size for the appliance only.
Xircom USB to Ethernet Adapter. I can say that this adapter does work with this appliance! Comes in original packaging with driver cd.
modified heatsink and mini-fan installed to keep things cool.

Build Notes: Again this is a Hacked Virgin Webplayer. The modem, modem jack and DOC (Disk On Chip)were removed.
A slim CD-ROM Drive was installed along with a 10 GIG IBM Travelstar Hard Drive. Windows 98se was installed and works great.
This is of course a used appliance. However, the use of the machine has under 3 hours of runtime since it was
upgraded. Included in this sale is a Xircom USB to Ethernet Adapter that was used with this webplayer and did get
me on the internet. The keyboard is in good working condition and comes with 2 AA batteries installed. The
appearance of the webplayer is in good, but used condition. There are a couple of tiny marks and smudges on
the front. The screen protector looks good and the screen itself is in good working condition, but probably needs
to be cleaned.

Front panel volume control, screen tint, and headphone jack all work like they should. The mic jack on the front
has not been tested, so assume this to not work. The speakers mounted above the screen work and will play
sound. If you want to play an audio CD from the CD-ROM drive you WILL hear good sound out the speakers
or headphone jack. Internal modifications were made to ensure this.

Here are the usual specifications:
200Mhz Cyrix MMX CPU
10.4" dual-scan color LCD.
2 USB ports
Wireless infrared keyboard with integrated Trackball
Integrated sound
Power Supply
Screen Protector
Original Virgin Webplayer Manual included.

Price/Payments accepted/Shipping.
I am asking $125 for everything. Sold as described.
I will take payments through Paypal or United States Postal Money Order only.
Buyer Pays actual shipping charges. I will ship, USPS or UPS either one is fine.
