This card was state-of-the art several years ago....cost over $900. It is a pci card, with a connector cable that interfaces with your main card. Would be perfect for a board that had integrated video. It is upgradable to at least 32mb. Drivers are available off the ELSA website.....I have the cdrom that came with it, and the cable. This is a neat card, even the back-plate is gold-plated.

Now here's the kicker....if you buy this card, I'll throw in for free, a TYAN Thunder Main-board. It is an LX board, supports Dual processors, slot one, up up P2-333. It has on-board Yamaha sound, three on-board SCSI connectors (Adaptec), 2 50 pin, 1 68 pin. This board cost over $600 new, is a very big board....needs a full-size case. Works just fine with one exception...has a problem with the on-board battery, or connections. Loses the time and BIOS settings on a re-boot. Should be fixable. I last ran it with NT, two PII-333 processors, it's fast. Running Win2k with two processors would be a trip.

First $100 takes both....you pay postage, ins. Or make an offer.

Boy....I'm not sure about that. I last used it about two years ago. I do know it has something called a Delta Geometry Processor on-board....Windows detects it as another device and assigns another IRQ to it. I think questions directed to ELSA.com would get you an answer.....plus newer drivers may support other stuff. It actually has a switch on the card that allows you to use it as a stand-alone PCI video card....this feature is supposedly only used for the initial setup.
