I am looking for a suggestion of a motherboard
a) fanless
b) header pins for tft lcd (I have the lcd)
c) speed not big issue - replacing a 200Mhz PII, which seems fine.
Alternately a cpu that will run without a fan in an old socket 7 motherboard.

You might also find a deal on something like a Fujitsu Stylistic 1200/2300 or Point1600 with a busted LCD. I saw a Stylistic 3400 motherboard cheap on ebay last week (about $35 shipped, iirc), which might still be available: I think it failed to draw a bid, so it might have been relisted.

Just a thought, but you may want to look into getting a motherboard from an iOpener. It has a LCD header and a Socket 7 that can accept up to an AMD 450Mhz chip either by changing the resistors, or installing something like an Evergreen upgrade chip. The iOpener is passively cooled and came with a 266Mhz Pentium class chip. One problem could be that the iOpener came with a passive matrix screen and may not support an active matrix screen; check the posting, the answers might be there.
