In cleaning out my closet, I came across an old V1 Iopener that someone had gotten for me back when they were all the rage. Unfortunately, this unit had a cracked LCD screen and even then Netpliance wanted nothing to do with fixing them.
This was a V1? demo unit (as far as I can tell). The lower 4th of the screen is obscured by a crack across the LCD -- it is usable as is (I thought it might deteriorate over time but it hasn't yet). The keyboard is missing the round plastic piece for the mouse.
It has a Winchip C6 200mhz, from the boot time display. I don't think it's been opened -- I didn't. It boots to the "Nothing but net" logo. It has phillips screws attaching to the stand.
I don't really have time to play with this unit (got a nice Audrey :) and another i-opener), and figure that someone might have use for the motherboard, or have a fried IOpener with an intact LCD screen, or similar.
I'll consider most offers -- i'm _guessing_ $50ish+shipping? Or trade for something smallish. (Audrey USB adapter possibly?). I'm in the Northern California area, if you'd like to avoid shipping, or see the unit. Email to scythic(at)yahoo.com.
