Maybe You have a Version 5 I-Opener ???
My experience is with Version 3b & V4s
(You wouldn't be trying to use the Yamaha Driver with a V5 ?)
Both Versions of Windows only need a Video Driver.
Don't Add anything else.
Windows has the sound files you Need.
Once a Windows Build is Bad?
You May need to do a Clean Install of Windows.
Normally, I don't Format to do this.
I Delete My "Windows" Folder, My "Program Files" Folder & I Delete Most Files in my ROOT.(from a DOS Shell)
I am Not an Expert. I am Sure there is a Better Way to Do this, & a Better Way To explain this !
I am just telling you this has be Needed & Worked for Me 
I have Not Needed the VIA 4in1 Drivers either. (Yet !)
