At less than $50 this little unit has three extra USB ports and a 10base-T port. It comes with AC adapter, but I got it to work with my mouse without the AC adapter.
I haven't tested the performance of the NIC as I have just started playing around with it, but installation was seamless and so far it has been fine.
Opening the D-Link's case was literally a snap. I will lengthen the leads of the LEDs so they reach the top of the I-Opener's base... the board is very compact and integration should be simple.
Once I get this done, and I have done the CPU/memory upgrade, it should run Half-Life Dedicated server like a champ (probably a 8 user's max server)
