I was in my local Circuit City yesterday and they had the I-Opener 2001 for $199. The sign said no long term commitment which sounds like no TOS to me. I was in kind of a hurry so I didn't get a chance to ask anybody about it, but is this how Netpliance is liquidating their inventory since their service is going TU (or so I've heard)? Or is it a case of them having a different definition of "long term commitment" than I have (like it depends on what your definition of the word is is).
Are these things hackable enough to be worth getting at that price?
Has any one else seen them at their local CC at that price?
If not does anybody want one at that price?
