Does anybody know if there is a utility out there that will detect what clock IC a mboard uses? I'd like to use SoftFSB on a couple of notebook computers I own, but I don't know what clock IC they used. Is there such a thing, or is it even possible? I've written to H.Oda (originator of SoftFSB) but haven't heard back yet. Any suggestions/help/thoughts (not flames) appreciated. Thanx

SiSoft Sandra (2001 pro) under mainboard information, comes up with the system clock generator. If that's what you're looking for.
