Can't get into bios, tried everything

I have been unable to get into the bios using everything mentioned in previous posts. They include - hitting ctrl-alt-delete, hitting tab numerous times, holding down ctrl/alt/delete while botting, tab/esc and tab/shift. I tried anything mentioned in previous posts. I think I have a version 1 since there is no goo on the bios and it didn't have the new "hack proof" precautions. The only thing that seems to have any effect is hitting ctrl/alt/delete numerous times, after several attempts all I get is a screen with light blue and white lines. The only thing(s) I am probably doing different then most is that I don't have a ps/2 splitter so I am booting it with just a keyboard and no mouse and I don't have the jumper for the hard drive I'm using. I don't think that has anything to do with it though???

Any ideas on what it could be? Any ideas and suggestions would be appreciated, I can't wait to get this shiit running it's like getting a new paint job for a car that won't run.

I had to push <ctrl><alt><esc> TWICE to get into my V1 BIOS. If I tried THREE times it would go into the BIOS but it would also freeze up leaving me unable to move around in the BIOS menus. This also works with a badflash BIOS altough the screen prompts to push the DEL key!
Hope this helps...

A standard keyboard won't work plugged directly into the I-Opener. You need a proper splitter.......plug the std keyboard into the mouse connection.....the mouse into the keyboard connection. Not all splitters work on the I-Opener. Make sure you get one that is marked keyboard/mouse. My Thinkpad splitter won't work on my I-Opener.

If you have a V5 without the patched bios you won't get into bios setup, you need the patch bios. If you have the patched bios, just do what these folks say. It will work.
