I have two iOpeners that I hacked back in May. Both units had the flash memory reflashed without removing the flash chip, so basically they have never had any rework done on them. The #2 unit works great and still works. The #1 unit worked for a few minutes. Then I put a heatsink/fan on it and it stopped working. Removed the heatsink/fan and it was still dead.

The CPU on the #1 unit gets very hot. Tried another CPU with the same results.

Any guesses what I should be looking for to solve this issue? I have a DVM and an 8 channel logic analyzer available.
