Well, I've screwed up one of my IO's. While I had the Iopener off and disassembled I tripped over the ethernet cable plugged into an adapter which was plugged into the USB port. It jerked the USB connector to one side and then broke a couple of the pins. The motherboard is fine but unless I can use the USB port I really don't have much use for this Iopener. Can someone tell me where I can get another connector? All the ones I've seen have been right-angle connectors and not vertical connectors.
The USB connector I use is from: http://www.newnex.com/listfor2.htm
Part number URA-1003. Not exactly the same as the stock one but it fits and is the same style (upright) so you don't need to bend the pins.
Prices and ordering info is here: http://www.ntcdistributing.com/ntc1.htm
Eleven or more is $2.75 each.
Pick up a kit from BadFlash, and pay a couple of extra bucks to sweet talk him into giving you 2 connectors. Then you can fix your existing port and add a second one in case you trip over a cable again, hehehe....
