Was frustrated with the Linksys 10BT USB network adapter since early last year with random lockups after a couple hours of operation. I tried out 2.4.1-ac18 (last version I tried was 2.4.0-pre4) and my IO has been running as an X client since last Friday without reboots / and eth0 dropouts. Just thought I would share my findings with those that might have been sitting on their LinkSys 10BT adapters as I was.
The kernel still has problems booting with the SanDisk during IDE probing, but that is another story....

RE:Linux 2.4.1-ac18 & USB Pegasus (fixed) (modified 0 times)
I too have noticed much better stability with 2.4.1 and the Linksys USB100TX. My previous "best" configuration was 2.3.99-pre9 with a patch to the pegasus.c module. In that configuration, It was rock solid and the TX and RX error counts remained at 0. The 2.4.1 kernel never hiccups, but the TX errors slowly creep up. However, I've left it up for several days without any problems.
