Got my v5 to light up.
Internals: IMOD-3 with 4.2GB IBM Travelstar HD, Lasgna Fan, Rise 266 CPU, BADFLASh v5 New Bios chip
Problem: Trying to put WIN98 on.. Have all the files on the HD. When I boot the bios does NOT detect a Primary Master (should be my HD right?), and the Primary Slave is the Sandisk. CTRL-ALT-ESC seems to do nothing. I can press F4 to skip the HD detection and it will skip it, but the ctrl-alt-esc does not work. The end message is a "CMOS checksum error" "resetting to defualt" Below it is DEl for setup, or F1 to do something else. At this point those keys do not invoke anything. The screen just stays there. My HD is set to Device 0, as I would have to add a jumper for Device 1. Thsi setting should be fine right? Any suggestions? I nee dot get her up and running soon, as I am moving on Saturday (doh! Probably should have waited huh?). Thanks for all the help fellas,,,

Josh
