V5 Led contacts on maninboard
LED

Looking over my V5 mainboard, I found two un-populated led's mounts.

As the board is postioned with the processor in the top right corner; one is down in between from the two sandisk chips, which appears to trace back to an unpopulated chip mount below the sandisk controller.

The other one is left of both the sandisk controller and sandisk memory chip and appears that this one would be live.

Could these be IDE activity LED connections? I haven't got brave enough to try, the second one appears to be the most promising.

Any ideas or has this been covered before? I know that there is a hack to attach a LED to the leads on the IDE connector with a resister, I was curious if any one had any idea on this?
