Is there DMA support in the IDE chipset

I don't have a 2.5" DMA capable drive installed in my IO right now. Does anyone know if the IO supports DMA transfer on the IDE bus under win98?

YUP, got a 20GB IBM Travelstar right now running DMA under Win 98SE with no trouble. Now if only things were so easy under Win 2000....
