Working BIOS setup

This might be of help to some people. I just posted some screen shots of my BIOS setup. This is on a V2, Badflash original BIOS 4-00, Winchip2, 64meg Micron memory, 1.4gig IBM hard drive, running Win98se, VIA 4-in-1 ver.4.29, VIA USB Filter drivers, Logitech cordless USB trackball, Philips USB speakers, HP USB cdrom, Acer warplink wireless LAN. This setup is very stable...rarely crashes. My only problem is occasional data transfer problems with the LAN.

There are other BIOS setups which work just the same....some of these settings are difficult to explain, and very well may be different for your own setup. These work for me. Questions answered (if possible)...Criticism accepted....

Cool, that was exactly what I have been looking for.

I made some changes to mine...we shall see what happens.

In case anyone is interested in the particular meaning of an individual BIOS setting, and it's effect on the system, here's a link to a good resource. Remember to write down whatever changes you have made, so you can go back and undo a mistake.
