Where can I find parts?

Can anybody point me to a place that sells all the parts required for the sproggy.com I-booster auto adapter? Particular parts that no one (tried mouser & digikey) knows what they are: PBYR1040 & NDP6051.

Thanks for the help...

Well I can give you a heads up, but you won't like it. I can't remember what those parts are off hand, power amplifiers I believe. I checked into this a few weeks ago. Those parts are old discontinued parts. I never was able to find a decent substitute for either, without redesigning the power supply. Basically, as far as I can tell the whole thing was designed around old obsolete or discontinued parts.

My suggestion is to go to Radio Shack and buy their car adapter for laptops. It has the right size plug and mine was set to the right voltage out of the box. It has been marked down to $50. It is right on the edge of the power requirements, but mine has worked great for a couple of 16 hour trips. If you want some extra margin on power, you will have to go with the larger supply that is discussed in another thread, or a $120 one that is sold at places like Compusa and I believe Circuit City.

You can get a 50 watt AC inverter for around $35 at Walmart. Jameco has a 150Watt for $50 (part #188293). This is a real easy way to go.

Yeah. 12 volt works pretty well. Sound quality is not affected *at all*. The LCD does get a bit dim though.
