I made a real bonehead mistake today! I was adding the few changes to a Rev 4 bouard to support a core voltage of 2.0v. I was adding a cooling resistor (.13 ohm 10 watt resistor) to Q16 as described in numerous posts. Just as I completed the soldering I realized I was on the wrong! pin 3! Doh! I put the resistor on pin 1.
As I was removing it, the pad for pin 1 popped off the board. Can anybody tell me if there is another pad nearby that is common with Q16 pin 1? I figure (hope) one or more of the nearby bulk caps will be, and that I can run a short, heavy wire from Q16 to that point.
If you know where I can attach to, please let me know. Thanks for the help.
