Need inexpensive partioner

Several people have mentioned using Partition Magic on this list. I have a 10 gig HD that has ME running in one partition that fills the disk. I would now like to add Linux but need to resize the partition so I will have room for a second partition.

I looked at Partition Magic and went into sticker shock. Is there anything else out there, preferably free or close to it, that can repartition a drive without loosing data?
