I stumbled across this A/C adapter and it looks like it will work with the i-Opener.

Power Brick Adapter Only ( Standard Adapter Cord Needed )

IMHO, $20.00 for a 60W laptop power supply is a great deal.

I think that the connector will work as-is. This looks like it will be a nice cheap replacement supply for those that need more power for their i-Openers or have fried their stock supplies (because they needed more power <g>).

I have a few of these on order that should arrive next week. I'll test these with an i-Opener when they arrive, unless one of you west-coasters gets to it first (you have an advantage on shipping time from CompGeeks).

Update: The adapters arrived tody. The hole for the adapter plug is a bit small for the center terminal on the i-Opener. I used a small drill bit to carefully remove some of the plastic and enlarge the hole. The i-Opener powered up and ran fine with the new adapter. It looks like this adapter is a winner.
