Enable DMA

I can't get DMA to stay enabled on my ver 5 with Badflash bios, Win98SE. The HD supports DMA as I have run the test from the MS Knowledgebase. This article, http://www.pcstats.com/articleview.cfm?articleID=642 describes how to enable DMA. Any suggestions, comments? Will it work on the I-Opener?

Thanks.
