I have installed the Microsoft PC Phone on my Version 1 i-opener and can not get the MSVoice portion of it stable. It keeps crashing the opener. The MSVoice portion is for the voice recognition.
Anyone tried the microsoft phone or have any ideas why it hangs the system up?
The rest of the phone works great and the opener makes a perfect dedicated caller id/answering machine. I just let it run 24/7.
If I can't get it working right, I may try the Cyber Genie PC Phone, although it requires a minimum of 233 mhz CPU (300 recommended).
Anyone have any other ideas for good phone systems? I would even be willing to try VoIP phones.
