DEAD IO - Need Help

I also have a dead IO, but mine has a Rise 266 and R60 & R61 are NOT populated. I check the voltages at Q16, the pin closest to the CPU was 24mV and continued to rise to approx. 60mV, the center pin was .8 mV and the last pin was 0. I check Q30 and the left pin(closest to the A/C)input was 18V, the center pin was .500mV and dropping and the last pin was ~1.2mV and also fluctuating. Any help would be appreciated.

you are effectively getting no power to the points you mention. start from the 19V input and work in from there.

Thanks, but what should be the voltage at the other pins on Q30, like I said the one pin does get 18V.

either that regulator is blown or (far more likely) you have a short somewhere. go over every square centimeter of the board looking for a tiny piece of metal, you may have luck going over the entire board with a vacuum cleaner, or rinsing it with water(and waiting for it to dry)
