A few questions from a confused person. I am pretty sure i have a v1 i-opener. My first question is how can i get into the tutorial on an i-opener that has been used? Alos I want to install a k6-2+ 450 in it, and even though i know it has been stated before (i get lost in all the messages), could somebody send the steps to add the processor?

And last but not least I am gonna try and make a website with as much of the information on this board as possible. So any suggestions would be welcome.

Try here: http://www.linux-hacker.net/cgi-bin/UltraBoard/UltraBoard.pl?Action=ShowPost&Board=verytech&Post=131&Idle=0&Sort=0&Order=Descend&Page=0&Session=

An easier way to do this is to buy a V5...they're still available here and there. Your 450 chip will drop right in. You can run it up to about 266mhz without many mods, only fans. This is the place to find out about your I-O...why another website?

DarthCbyer,
If your I-opener was used past July of 2000, then nothing short of hot flashing (don't do if you don't know what I am talking about. Don't do it even if you do.) or buy a new bios chip from http://www.badfash.com. Not only will he sell you what you need, he will also give you support on the things you buy and answer any question that you have.
