| Three different installs of this driver went ok...two Win98, one ME. Two of the three hard drives support UltraDMA modes, according to the VIA utility. However, when I tried to set UltraDMA mode2, upon a reboot, the mode goes back to default. There is no documentation that I can find about this......if anyone knows something about this new driver, please post. I'd like to get DMA enabled on these two drives that support it. What I can't figure is that before this driver install, one of the drives supposedly was running in the DMA mode.....but not after the install. Haven't done any benchmarking yet...... | |
