I Imagine, If this was the only Function for the I-Opener,
Linux might be crafted under 16meg ??? I don't know about such.
but maybe USB Drivers were a Problem ?

That's really NOT a bad idea. VNC linux (small footprint) with almost nothing other than VNC, X, and networking running. Get it configured. Once everything is set up properly, then unplug the VGA monitor. You'll essentially be running it as a monitor. :)
