buddy i hate to brake it to you but :s you realy shouldnt even try to bring it upto 256 colors. Its way to much works in my opinnion. Instead I'd download the latest video driver for the io and bring it to 16million colors at 800/600 res. '
search the BBS and you'll find your answer. OR use the windows update feature and do the upate thin. and you should get a driver for the video card as one of the options at the very bottem.
