I successfully downgraded the BIOS of my V5 i-opener to V1, but failed to realize that I would not be able to enable the onboard VIA/AD1881 sound system from the older BIOS. I have Windows 98 SE up and running on my i-opener and adding audio output would complete my project. I know that I can purchase a new BIOS from BadFlash.com, but I'm trying to stick to a strict budget and was wondering if the patched version of the V5 BIOS is currently available as a free download anywhere online. Thanks in advance for your help.
Is there any way to enter the BIOS setup menu using an original I-Opener keyboard and the patched version 5 BIOS? I can get in with a standard PS/2 keyboard using ctrl-alt-esc, but no key combination seems to work with the I-Opener keyboard.
